Free books at the firehouse!

Every Saturday at the firehouse, the library will have available a selection of books (mostly paperbacks) to be given free to area residents.

Come to the firehouse between 10 AM and noon on Saturday and get a FREE book. You can also find out how to select Brainerd materials online. If you do not already have a library card you can sign up for one at the firehouse.

Sue Olsen, a Haddam Neck resident and long-time volunteer at BML, will be on hand to assist you. Drop in and say hello, find a book, and get on-line with Brainerd!

Sue will staff on east-of-the-river delivery and pick-up-site from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. On Friday afternoons, she will pick up requests and holds at BML and deliver them to the Chief's office at the Haddam Neck Firehouse on Saturday mornings. She will also accept returns. They will be delivered back to BML the following Friday. You can sign up for library cards at the firehouse. Please have proof of residency and ID with you when you apply for a card.
